A Flexitank is a bulk liquid container constructed from a woven Nylon or Polyester fabric coated on both sides with Synthetic Rubber or Thermoplastic material. With capacities up to 23 cubic metres, dependent on the Specific Gravity of the liquid, this modern vehicle of international transportation converts a standard 20' dry container into a bulk liquid container capable of carrying up to 21.5 tonnes of product.

Reduced Shipping Costs

The Flexitank is a one-way cost system. After discharge, the Flexitank is refolded to 2% of its loaded capacity and returned as LCL cargo.

Less labour and handling

Costs are further reduced by achieving higher payloads and less handling than with drums with the added advantage of no disposal problems.

Just in time

Parcel Tank shipments require costly storage and handling facilities and tie up cash in stock. Flexitanks facilitate 'just in time' purchasing and can deliver from shipper to end-user directly.
